Customer feedback from Valentine's Day Stay at the Carnarvon Arms
I just wanted to take a moment to write to you and let you know how much my boyfriend and I enjoyed our recent stay on Saturday 13th February. The room was beautifully decorated with champagne and strawberries waiting for us. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. We both ordered the steak and commented to each other on how amazing it was...it melted in the mouth! The huge chips were very impressive and the garnish of spinach and mushroom was just enough, followed by the chocolate option for dessert - which looked magnificent and tasted divine!
We thoroughly enjoyed our mini break. We found the staff very pleasant, the decor was beautiful and the ambience was just right. We would definitely come again and have already recommended The Carnarvon Arms to many of our friends. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

Thank you so much for all you did towards making Saturday night such a success. Please will you give everyone involved a huge thank you for the truly memorable night. The service was outstanding.
Nick was simply brilliant and so enthusiastic. Justin was superb - the food was the best ever, what a star he is. In fact, all the staff were so helpful, Josh was so well organised behind the bar, everyone was so switched on and attentive, the waiters and waitresses were delightful - nothing was too much trouble. It's so wonderful when everything comes together to make a memorable evening. Everyone who was there has been thanking me and saying it was one the best nights we have ever held. The disco was great and it was so good of him to set up in the Spencer room. Please can you pass my most grateful thanks to your General Manager, he should be justifiably proud to have such a great bunch of staff. I cannot thank you all enough. Hope to see you again soon - and well done.

Thank you for our Christmas Party last night, it was fabulous! The booking process, menu changes and my last minute panic on the night - all calmly and competently handled by Hannah. The food was super - presentation, taste and quantity all spot on! The setting was beautiful and the room was stunning - the space, light, decoration were very impressive. All this, together with your welcoming, friendly and efficient staff gave us a party to remember. Thank you. We thank you so much that we have already put in a reserved date for Christmas 2010!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the Carnarvon yesterday.
We had a warm welcome and attentive service throughout, and we felt that the quality of the food was very good indeed. The risotto was sublime, and I was so pleased to re-discover the flavour of real pork!
We also found the whole ambience warm and relaxing… perhaps especially appreciated in contrast to the wild and wet weather outside. Thank you very much – it only remains for me to congratulate myself on choosing an excellent place for our family celebration.
